Every year the Austin Modern Home Tour features homes by some of Austin’s premier modern architects. These architects and firms are responsible for moving Austin to a new, modern design style. Through these incredible design styles and visions, Austinites are given the chance to experience true modern architecture.


Visitors on the Modern Home Tour will have the opportunity to meet the 2012 Featured Architects at the Tour After Party, where the architects participate in a panel on Modern Architecture.

Featuring 16 stunning modern homes, the Modern Home Tour will take place on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 from 11:00am – 6:00pm. Tickets grant you access to every home and the 2012 After Party. Advanced tickets are currently on sale for $20 until 8:00pm on February 3rd. Ticket prices rises to $25 the day of the tour, so get yours today!

What is the Modern Home Tour?

I believe the Modern Home Tour is a fun part of an important effort to bring attention to the modern and sustainable lifestyle. Its purpose is simple – to highlight and promote the collaborative exchange between Real Estate Professionals, Architects and Developers and to invite Austinites to join the Modern Movement.

In the 2012 Austin Modern Home Tour you will see homes designed by some very talented Austin modern architects and fantastic modern homes currently on the market.
